A life just as ordinary

Just like you, but different

Herevana – Coromandel – Hahei Doctor

Special beach edition #1. I’m having a good old time at the beach house, Bach, Crib or Holiday home, call it what you will, and of course it’s even more prudent to drink local if you can.

Coromandel Brewing made the Coromandel Hahei Doctor– nearby in 🇳🇿 Hahei, New Zealand, which is a beer of 6.0% and it’s either a Pal Ale or an IPA  , or even an APA, it’s kind of relaxed around these parts. anyway it’s about 180 calories a serve sze. This is 2.4 standard dinks in a bottle

Beach Beer

Bottle conditioned, must pour slowly, must leave beer in bottle, this pains me.

But, what a glorious pour of a lovely golden hazy beer, with a lovely fruity aroma.

A fully fruity fruity and rich tasting beer, that is right on style, which according the the label is APA. There’s such a cracking amount of that citrus in this, I’m surprised that this a niche beer, although I’m also not surprised as why would the locals not want it all?

That’s 1 for 1 for local beers, for local people, brought jsut along at the next beach store. I’ve really enjoyed this and it’d be an easy go agin.

The Pdubyah-o-meter rates this as 8 on the arbitrary number scale. This is quite glorious and surprisingly good, although ‘m not sure why I’m surprised, there’s quite an output of range and styles from the brewer they clearly know what they’re about. .

The Light Golden beer has a light malt character and backed up with huge citrus flavours and aromas from the mix of hops. Do you need a doctor?

Herevana beers are those I drink at home, I’m not at some beer festival, like, for instance, Beervana, but am just in my kitchen, usually, dining room table, sometimes, or outside, occasionally, where I can take an average picture and write in real time about the beer that I’ve invested in, both in a monetary and emotional way.

Philip himself.
