Beer – the one with the gap week
I had a strep throat infection which really took a toll, and not only that but because of the medications I’m forced into a break in the quest to drink all the beers.
I’m trying to remember when I was last this unwell, properly unwell, not the Monday-morning unwell, the Tummy-Bug unwell, the Food Poising unwell, but properly unwell. It’s longer than 4 years.
In that twist of the knife I noticed a couple of beers pop-up on the FYO stations that I’d had half and eye on, and some part of me is wishing that they’ll be slow sellers and will still be available next week.
Which is wishful thinking because 10 days will make it at least Sunday before I can board that wagon again.
On the upside, a few kilos higher never hurts, a few dollars not spent never hurts and a bit of a nap in the afternoon in recovery seems to be the go.
A life just as ordinary 
I went out in sympathy and only drank wine all weekend;)

I only had wine too, but pretended it was beer, and realised that it was not a good idea next morning, or was it afternoon.
