This Halloween Edition mini-series
Count Dankula, a magnificent name for a beer, reminds me of Cushing, and Lee and Lugosi, and the glory years of horror movies.
Epic Count Dankula Hazy 330ml is a beer of 4.8% – making this 1.2 Standard drinks in NZ brewed by Epic Brewing Company (NZ) who are are based in Auckland, 🇳🇿, New Zealand this is in the style that is Pale Ale – Hazy / New England
This is a beer that I’ve been looking forward to, because it promises Dank. Remember Dank?
Did no get a dankness when I opened it.
But another brilliant looking beer, lightly hazy with a really aerated and waft head.
The aroma isn’t what I thought Dank was, it is however something. I’m not sure I’m comfortable with it.
For me this is a bit underwhelming. I think they came up with a name and had a beer available.
I thought I was going the right way with these beers, this might have been a better beer to start with than get in in the middle.
The aroma is making the most of this, but I’m not really feeling this as a beer or what it wants me to feel either. Somewhat dissapointed.
The Pdubyah-o-meter rates this as a 7 on the arbitrary number scale. I may have gone at this wrong, and the previous beers have made this uncomfortable or difficult to revert to. It just doesn’t have any Bite.
Music: Baxter Dury – Len Parrot’s Memorial Lift.
Herevana beers are those I drink at home, I’m not at some beer festival, like, for instance, Beervana, but am just in my kitchen, usually, dining room table, sometimes, or outside, occasionally, where I can take an average picture and write in real time about the beer that I’ve invested in, both in a monetary and emotional way.
Philip himself.

Sounds like a good mixed 4-pack box, even if the titular beer is a misnomer.
